Limak Hydroelectric Power Plant Investments

The company was established on May 25, 2004, under the name Limak Hidroelektrik Santral Yatırımları A.Ş.

A Partner in Darenhes

The company became a direct shareholder in Darenhes on January 18, 2005.

Seyrantepe HEPP - Production

The construction of Seyrantepe HEPP, which began in 2005, was completed and the plant started operations in September 2008.

Alkumru Dam and HEPP - Production

Alkumru Dam and HEPP, one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in Turkey, started operations.

Tatar HEPP - Production

The construction of Tatar HEPP, which began in 2008, was completed, and the plant started operations.

Alkumru Dam and HEPP - Carbon Certificate

Alkumru Dam and HEPP was awarded a Carbon Reduction Certificate in 2013, under the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS). Following the evaluation of the social assistance provided to the region for the project, social carbon validation was conducted, resulting in the issuance of a Social Carbon Certificate.

Pembelik Dam - Production

The construction of the Pembelik Dam and HEPP, which started in 2008, was completed, and the power plant began operations.

Gönen SPP - Production

The Gönen Solar Power Plant (SPP) started operations in 2017.

Buharkent GPP - Production

Buharkent GPP, the first power plant in Turkey designed for pumped generation, began operations in 2018.

APA SPP - Production

The APA Solar Power Plant (SPP) started operations in 2019.

Çetin Dam and HEPP - Production

The construction of Çetin Dam and HEPP was completed, and it became operational as the largest "Roller Compacted Concrete" dam in both Europe and Turkey.

YEKA GES-4 competition within the scope of YEKA model

The G4-Erzin-1 Solar Power Plant (SPP) project has been awarded under the YEKA GES-4 competition.

Corporate Reorganization

Erzin SPP, Buharkent GPP, and Gönen SPP were transferred to the company.

Buharkent Hybrid SPP - Production

The Buharkent Hybrid SPP started operations on October 6, 2023.

Limak Renewable Energy

The company name was changed to Limak Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş.

G4-Erzin-1 - Production

The G4-Erzin-1 Solar Power Plant (SPP) started operations in 2024.
